Website purpose and general use
The purpose of the Uni Virtual Clinic website is to provide mental health information and self-help for university students. The Uni Virtual Clinic contains quizzes and exercises that you can complete to either receive feedback about your levels of symptoms or practice the skills provided in the informational resources on the website.
Quiz feedback is not intended to provide a diagnosis, and use of the Uni Virtual Clinic website is not intended to be a replacement for seeking diagnosis and treatment from a health professional.
Data collection
During your use of the Uni Virtual Clinic website, you may be asked to provide data when you first visit the website (your age, level, and year of study), when you complete a quiz, and when you complete a module exercise.
When you complete a quiz on the Uni Virtual Clinic website, we will collect and store this data in an aggregated form together with all other user data. We do not collect any identifying information on the Uni Virtual Clinic website that could link your information directly to you. We may use the data we collect in quizzes for research publications, promotional activities, or research funding applications.
When you complete an exercise on the Uni Virtual Clinic website, we do not store or collect this data.
Any data we collect from the Uni Virtual Clinic website will not be monitored by the website custodians.
